Position Overview The Concrete Superintendent is responsible for overseeing concrete operations on commercial construction projects, ensuring quality standards are met while adhering to safety regulations and timelines. This role involves coordinating with various teams to deliver successful project outcomes and manage resources effectively.
Key Responsibilities - Supervise and coordinate concrete construction activities on-site.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Manage and schedule labor and equipment for concrete pours.
- Collaborate with project managers and other superintendents to align on project goals.
- Conduct regular inspections of work to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Resolve any issues that may arise during construction phases promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities and report on project progress.
Qualifications - Proven experience as a Concrete Superintendent or similar role in commercial construction.
- In-depth knowledge of concrete construction processes and techniques.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in construction.
- Relevant certifications in construction management or concrete technology are a plus.
