Director of Strategic Supply Chain & Enablement – US and Mexico

This is more than a supply chain leadership roleit's a strategic seat at the table. As Electrex transitions into a Design/Build systems business model, we are seeking a Director who can turn supply chain into a profit driver, innovation enabler, and growth engine .

• Influence Strategy, Not Just Operations – You'll own structured procurement, shape BOM/DFM decisions with Engineering, and sit alongside the Commercial Leader to impact quoting, negotiations, and gross profit outcomes. Supply chain here directly drives 45%+ GP targets.
  
• Build Supplier Partnerships & Resilient Networks – Lead Partnering Agreements with top suppliers, drive supplier innovation workshops, and ensure dual-supplier resilience across our U.S. and Mexico footprint. This role builds partnerships that fuel growth, not transactions.
  
• Develop and Lead a High-Performing Team – Analysts, managers, buyersyou'll shape a team, build succession, and embed a culture of servant leadership, coaching, and connection.

What You'll Do

• Lead structured procurement strategy (CAU, EAU, blanket orders) with a target of 70%+ coverage.
• Drive supplier performance, innovation, and resilience strategies across borders.
• Partner with Commercial and Engineering to ensure supply chain enables profitability and scalability.
• Own Power BI dashboards for real-time supply chain visibility (supplier scorecards, cost variance, inventory turns).
• Coach and elevate your team to be trusted business partners across Electrex.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of progressive supply chain leadership; 5+ years leading cross-functional teams.
• Proven success in structured procurement programs, supplier negotiation, and category management.
• SIOP mastery required; CPIM/CSCP preferred.
• Hands-on ERP (Syteline) and Power BI experience strongly preferred.
• Cross-border/global leadership exposure a plus.

• Inventory turns >6x annually with 98%+ OTD
• Quarterly supplier innovation ideas delivered
