Position Overview

The Manager of Nursing – Rehab is responsible for the planning, leadership, and operational oversight of nursing care on assigned rehabilitation units. This role ensures safe, efficient, and cost-effective care in compliance with federal and state regulations, The Joint Commission, CARF standards, and professional nursing practice guidelines.

You’ll serve as both a strategic and hands-on leader — guiding staff performance, supporting professional growth, and fostering a culture of learning, accountability, and excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Provide 24-hour leadership and accountability for nursing operations and patient care delivery.
• Serve as a change agent who inspires a shared vision and supports a culture of learning and innovation.
• Recruit, hire, develop, coach, and evaluate nursing staff, supporting ongoing professional growth.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets while monitoring quality, productivity, and operational performance.
• Partner with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and community stakeholders to advance patient-centered rehabilitation care.
• Ensure compliance with CARF, TJC, and regulatory standards while promoting evidence-based nursing practice.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes, safety, and experience.

What You Bring

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in nursing preferred or in progress.
• Experience: Prior nursing leadership or management experience.
• Licensure: Active or eligible State of Nevada Registered Nurse license required.
• Certification: Current BLS required; professional nursing certification preferred.
• Skills: Strong leadership, critical thinking, communication, and operational management skills.
