Pharmacy Technician Shift Differential
Location: South Salt Lake City UT 84115
Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Pay Rate:$21-$25/hr
Shift Schedule
• Rotating opening and closing shifts
• Weekday shifts: 8 AM to 4:30 PM and 2:30 PM to 11 PM
• Weekend shifts: 9 AM to 6 PM
Requirements
• Active Utah Pharmacy Technician license
Responsibilities
• Work under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to fill prescriptions and prepare IVs
• Collaborate with Billing Supervisor to enter prescription data and support reimbursement processes
• Assist in prepackaging medications for dispensing in compliance with standards and regulations
• Support final prescription checks including stating medications for pharmacist review and packaging post-review
• Coordinate accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers
• Maintain inventory practices including receiving and rotating stock, posting lot numbers and expiration dates, and assisting with physical inventory
• Support Technician Supervisor in maintaining a clean and safe work environment
