Position Overview The Senior Superintendent is responsible for overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of construction processes, and a commitment to safety in accordance with OSHA regulations.
Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate and supervise on-site construction activities, including scheduling, labor management, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among all team members and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders on status, challenges, and solutions.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to achieve project goals and resolve any issues that arise during construction.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are met and address any deficiencies promptly.
Qualifications - Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role on large-scale construction projects.
- Thorough knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and quality control.
- OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications are required.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
