Cardiovascular Invasive Technician – Cath Lab

Schedule: 4x10s, Monday–Friday (scheduled days TBD)

Shift: AM

Call: Required

Interview: Virtual, 1 round

Specialty: Cath Lab

Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Housing Requirement: Must live within 30 minutes of the facility (including drive, parking, and walking time)

Certifications Required

• BLS (AHA Only)
• ACLS (AHA Only)
• RCIS OR ARRT-R / RT-R

Top Skills / Minimum Experience

• 2+ years Cath Lab experience
• Structural Heart experience (TAVRs, Mitral/Tricuspid clips)
• Peripheral cases
• STEMI program experience

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub in and assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures.
• Support structural heart cases (TAVR, clips) alongside the cardiology team.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields; ensure proper equipment setup and functionality.
• Monitor patient ECG and vital signs during procedures; assist with emergency interventions if needed.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure care and transport patients to/from the lab.
• Document procedure data and enter case information accurately.
• Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards for patients and staff.
• Monitor supply inventory and ensure procedure rooms remain fully stocked.
