Adams & Martin Group is seeking a Trust & Estates attorney that also carries their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential with 3+ years of experience to join a thriving trusts and estates and tax practice groups. The selected candidate will work with a group of experienced estates and trust, elder law, tax, trust administration, and probate attorneys, as well as tax and accounting advisory services to attorneys in other practice groups. Must be actively barred in Minnesota.
Key Responsibilities:
*Prepare individual, trust, estate, and gift tax returns.
*Advise clients on minimizing tax liability through strategic planning.
*Represent clients in administrative tax proceedings, including audits and collection matters.
*Conduct in-depth research on federal and state tax laws and regulations.
*Draft and review tax-related legal documents, including opinions and memoranda.
*Manage client relationships by gathering necessary financial information, addressing questions, and communicating complex tax concepts clearly and effectively.
*Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm on matters that involve both tax and legal considerations, such as estate planning and business transactions.
